How to prepare

Please show up at least 10 minutes prior to class. Most CorePower Yoga studios will close the doors at the start of class because the instructors who check users in must teach, so you may risk getting locked out. Also, don’t forget your mat, towel and water! In case you forget, CorePower Yoga studios offer mat and towel rentals and bottles of water for purchase.

How to get there

- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class, so you have time to sign a waiver and get settled. - Honor the yoga room as a quiet space - it may be the only quiet hour you have all day! - Please leave all belongings in the locker rooms, including shoes and cell phones.

I was SO SCARED to take this class because I thought it would be too hard. It was difficult but I’m so glad I went and I want to go back! It’s a mix of hot yoga, weights, and light cardio (a few jumping jack sets and some other optional moves during strengthening portions). I felt like I was getting stronger and leaner even while it was happening. Since it’s yoga you can always take a less intense variation if it gets to be too much, but if you have done hot yoga before you’ll do great! It’s like a bunch of workouts all rolled into one & it feels amazing and effective.

Class was a little “clunky”, but come to find out it was Carli’s first class ever! So she def gets 5 stars and then some! I’m an instructor myself and know how terrifying the first classes can be - but she stuck with it and made us all giggle a bit. Plus, it was a great reminder for me to not make assumptions since we never know what people are going through or where they’re coming from. Great first class, Carli. Stick with it, and let the authenticity of your personality shine!

Instructor was great! I can’t wrap my head around the concept of these sculpt classes though, which is why I’m dinging by two stars. It’s just not yoga to me, being an instructor of more transitional yoga. Got a decent workout out of it, though. Just disappointed it’s called yoga.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
