About this studio

Home of your ClassPass Melbourne Instructors of the Year for both 2017 and 2018, Core Candy is a chic, New York inspired boutique fitness studio located on Chapel Street, South Yarra. Core Candy Chapel Street offers body changing, core-centric workouts in Barre, Pilates Springboard, Pilates Mat, HIIT (also known as Accelerate), Boxing HIIT and Stretch (RRR). Core Candy Chapel Street also offers pre-natal Pilates and targeted booty sculpting classes (check out their Booty Werk class!) as well as unique Pilates Slideboard. Upstairs in the heart of Chapel Street, Core Candy has two fully equipped studio spaces. Amazing and challenging - Amanda is so lovely and watches technique with a close eye. Studio is so friendly and warm!!

Loooooved this class! Anna is an amazing Teacher!
Booty Werk with Anna
Instructor was fabulous - skilled, cheery, encouraging. The workout was targeted to the glutes but if you’re in reasonably fit shape (go to gym 1-2 times a week and do some basic weight training) this class might not give you the burn you’re looking for. You’ll be able to comfortably handle the booty bands, 1-2kg dumbbells and 8-count movements. A ‘lower body class’ that uses weights might be better for you. This class might be better suited for those who just run throughout the week or do a yoga class once a week.
Boxing HIIT with Amanda
Lovely instructor & studio. I’d suggest less hand weighted punching and more boxing and pad time for an extra cardio boost!

Booty Werk with Anna
The instructor was really nice and cheerful. She recognised i was a newbie so introduced herself and made a great effort throughout the class to make sure i was following along. The workout hit the spot! Unlike other glute-focused classes in the area which are more about overall lower body, this class had very targeted movements to help you feel the burn in the glutes. At first it seemed like the class might be on the easy side but the instructor did a great job at compounding exercises to make every muscle work really hard. Will happily do this class again.

What is ClassPass?
