About this studio

Carrie's Pilates Plus combines the strengthening benefits of weight training, the rapid non-stop movement of cardio, and the postural-enhancing benefits of Pilates. The workout is fun, intense, and will give you results you can actually feel and see IMMEDIATELY! We highly recommend that new clients take a beginner level class before jumping into a regular CPP class. The Beginner Level class is open to all new students or students who would like to perfect their form before joining a faster-paced class. GRIP SOCKS ARE REQUIRED, and are available for purchase/rent. Anyone who doesn't arrive at least 5 minutes in advance automatically forfeits their spot and will be marked as absent. How to prepare

Students should bring a small towel for their face, a water bottle, and grip socks. Grip socks ARE required and available for purchase if you do not own any. Anyone without grip socks will not be allowed into class for health and sanitation reasons. We do have sock and towel rental available, and alkaline water available for purchase. Athletic tights are most comfortable to perform in, but any athletic gear that isn't too loose is recommended.

Always greatful to Glen for a tough Total Body work out and helping to rehab my knee. He really understands technique and how each exercise works what muscles. Despite a full class with many reformers, Glen takes his classes seriously and monitors form. And his music is different, fantastic and motivating each time! Glen is among my favorites. But if you are wanting an easy class and very gentle positive reinforcement, this isnt it. Think boot camp but your returns will be high if you persist . Thanks Glen!

This class is absolutely NOT for all levels. It was for advanced students. The instructor does not demonstrate anything, he calls out things to do, and if you've never been to this class you will have no idea what those things are. These Pilates machines are also very different from the standard machines used in most studios, so even if you have done Pilates you will still not be familiar with this particular machine. That being said, it is definitely a very good work out that's very intense. You work your muscles and really feel it.
