About this studio

High-intensity resistance training classes using customized btone machines or the WaterRower at this Newbury Street exercise studio will help you transform your body quickly and efficiently. They offer both TONE classes on the btone machines and Row classes on the Waterrowers. Both offer low impact on your joints, but are HIGHLY effective. NOTE: Per ClassPass policy, reservations are valid at the confirmed location ONLY. If a user goes to the wrong location, they will be charged a missed class fee for not showing at their confirmed location. Additionally, to attend class at Back Bay without a confirmed reservation for the Back Bay location, they must pay the drop-in fee.

How to prepare

Classes are done either barefoot or with toeless grip socks (sold at studio). Please note, Circuit Row classes require sneakers. Bring a water bottle for filtered water. Please bring a hand towel if you need one. They do have one shower with shampoo and body wash. Must bring your own towel.

How to get there

Late arrivals will NOT be permitted into class and will count as a missed class. You must arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time. NOTE: Reservations are valid at the confirmed location ONLY. If a user goes to the wrong location, they will be charged a missed class fee for not showing at their confirmed location. Additionally, to attend class at Back Bay without a confirmed reservation for the Back Bay location, they must pay the drop-in fee.

I LOVE this place and I thought I loved every instructor as well until Denise. She was the worst Btone instructor I have had and I have taken these classes on classpass for over a year now. Did not focus on their principals of slow movements at all and made the class completely horrible. I will never go back if she is teaching.

This class was ok. The studio is amazing and has so much potential. The instructor really bothered me. I straight up told her I was new and she barely payed attention to the fact that I didnt know how to do any most moves. She did come by once or twice towards the end of the class but I felt like I could have seriously injured myself at the beginning. I felt frustrated because I wasted half the class looking at what other people were doing and trying to copy them instead of getting guidance from the instructor. You could tell shes experienced and knows what shes doing so maybe today was just a weird day. Either way, Ill be coming back to the studio but not to her class.

Fast paced - switching from one move to another - if you're not familiar with Reformer Pilates - it's a little difficult in your first class - but will be better going forward now that I know what to expect. Instructor was SUPER helpful about modifying moves when you have an injury. She also took time to go over the equipment with me before the start of class. Will definitely be back!

Loved this class!!! Laura was so nice, and helpful with tips on how to improve technique. The class was small, but still a hard work out. And the rowing races at the end were really great to push you hard. Loved this class, looking forward to going back!!
