About this studio

Barry’s is an hour-long cardio and strength-building workout designed to help your body burn up to 1,000 calories thanks to their carefully crafted program that is as effective as it is fun. Their clients spend 25-30 minutes running on the treadmill and 25-30 minutes doing strength training, broken into rounds.

How to prepare

Please note that Barry's sometimes has to change their instructors. In order to remain updated, please make sure you subscribe to the Barry's newsletter in your Barry's Bootcamp account. If this is your first time taking a class at Barry's Bootcamp, you now have an account with their website! If you want access your account, go to www.barrysbootcamp.com, click on "Sign In" then "Forgot your password?" A password reset email will be sent to the email address you used to reserve!

How to get there

You must be physically present 5 minutes prior to the start of class or your spot will be given away to waitlisted clients and you will be charged for the class. You will be randomly assigned a spot on the treadmill or the floor at the studio’s discretion. Thank you for understanding

Total Body (60 Minutes) with Michael
Not sure why, but this 3 rounder did me dirty unlike no other before. I typically hate having to waste the time for the extra transitions, but in the 10, 8 + 5 min tread rounds, I still logged 3.5 miles with plenty of sprints + incline work. The floor was not my favorite though - def not enough lower body or core work (the longest 10 min round included zero legs), + lots of boring, non compound movements (standing bicep curl, Tricep kickbacks, chest press). Also, far too much involved hopping, which just got tedious (plank jacks, plank to squat hop to stand, incline pushups with hop on bench, plank one armed rows with hop). Not sure if this is a reflection of the updated class structure they recently implemented but I miss true full body days :(

Great class. Just too loud...glad they had ear plugs, but seriously we don’t need to have our ears damaged to get fit!!

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
