About this studio

Barre District is a lifestyle concept that combines elements of ballet dance conditioning, pilates and yoga into a full body workout. Based off of techniques from the original Lotte Berk method, a Barre District class will tone and elongate muscles, increase flexibility, and strengthen you both physically and mentally. Their mission is to connect within the community to make the barre workout the way they change lives, and to promote a healthier lifestyle through strength, flexibility and relationships with one another. 262 606 1099

How to prepare

Please wear whatever you are comfortable in to move, bend and stretch! Leggings are a great option. All Barre District studios require that you wear socks, and they recommend that you drink water throughout your workout (also available in studio). You can bring your own socks or purchase grip socks at the studio.

Barre with Allie
Awesome class, great instructor, I will definitely go again. Challenging but in a good way.
Barre with Kippy
I’m not used to barre so this class kicked my butt but It was really fun and I intend to go again! Class with kippy was a little easier than with Kris so I’d suggest that for beginners. Certainly still a challenging workout!
Barre with Kris
Class was super hard and I was sore the next day but I loved it and definitely feel like it’s working muscles that I don’t normally hit with my regular strength training. Harder than class with Kippy. I would just say go slow if you’re new to barre to avoid overworking unused muscles or injuring due to quick movements.
