Barre Blend with Leandra
Workout and teacher were good, but the space was average.
Barre F.I.T with Antonio
Unfortunately the name of this class is quite misleading. This had nothing to do with Barre. It was an HIIT class and the only thing “barre” was a bar standing in the middle of the room. Secondly, there were some unpleasant situations with the trainer. He seemed like a nice person and also later talked friendly with other class visitors. But I can not oversee that during the workout, when one women was doing crunches, he asked her if she had a burger earlier in the day. She then got confused and answered no on which he claimed that yes he can see the burger. I am sure he meant this in a jokingly way, but especially as a fitness instructor you should know that one should never make jokes about a woman’s body. Some people may take that to their heart. In general throughout the work out the tone was rather rude and it all seemed very messy and uncoordinated. Maybe that’s partly how HIIT circuit are, but if you’re new and consider this class, this is something you should be aware of.
Barre F.I.T with Antonio
Unpleasant experience of being yelled at by Antonio as ‘motivation’, while witnessing others being pushed beyond what they are physically capable of or comfortable doing. Did not feel inspired in this class.
Barre F.I.T with Antonio
The class was high intensity, and through speaking with the instructor one on one, I felt like he wanted us to succeed. However, I absolutely HATE when classes focus on working out to resolve what we have eaten— I explicitly remember a moment during the class where he spoke to someone doing the abs and ball passing station and asked “Did you have a burger today? I can see it.” I think that’s gross and absolutely uncalled for. There’s a difference between being mean and being harsh. That was mean. I felt like I worked pretty hard, except some of the stations didn’t have enough instructions. Free romanian deadlifts without any discussion of proper form and alignment is dangerous. I got somewhat of a core workout, but I won’t be returning because I didn’t feel encouraged; I felt bullied. If you care less about the food thing, this may be a good class, but be aware, it’s not a barre class. It’s a HIIT floor class in which we didn’t even touch the barre except for pushups at one station .
Barre Blend with Rosie
I loved this class, it was a really great strength workout for someone just starting out. The teacher was lovely and she made it easy to follow. I would definitely go back.
Barre Blend with Rosie
Class instructor was very friendly and encouraging. I found the class pace a bit slow so it’s more for stretching
Ballet Barre with Aimee
Great quality studio and instructor who guides well and makes sure you’re doing it right. I will definitely be back.
Barre Burn with Aimee
Aimee was a lovely instructor. Definitely felt the “burn” part of the class!
Barre Burn with Aimee
Instructor was very good
Barre Burn with Aimee
Aimee was very sweet and personable. Class moved very fast and was very arms heavy (we did a push up series, weights, and tube) with little focus on seat. Studio is a bit disjointed as it’s hidden behind a spa and there was no barretender, so I wasn’t sure who to check in with or if I needed to fill out a waiver in studio. Flow of class was clunky. Not recommended for beginners building their strength or those who are new to barre.
