He tailors the moves to how many new comers there are but it is still challenging enough for someone like me who has been going for a year. see all reviewsI really enjoyed the class but I will say if you are a beginner this might be a little too fast and furious for you. This was my first foray back into a class after the COVID hiatus so many of us have had and while my former experience definitely aided in helping me keep but there definitely were moments were I was a little lost because I hadn't been to this class before. Not the instructor's fault, she gave a great class and I enjoyed the work out I got from it but just something to consider for true newbies.

This workout was super refined and specific to the targeted muscle groups using strategic cyclic reps of weights, cardio, natural body weight and some Pilates infusion. He offered multiple modifications so the class was inclusive to all abilities/ages. He stopped to physically demonstrate proper form for deadlifts and squats which I noticed helped people out/ boosted confidence. This is an instructor who doesn’t tell you to simply do something, but shows you how to do it first. Highly recommend this friendly class.

I didn't find it hard on my joints or back or anything and it was easy to follow (although the minor caveat is that if you haven't attended before or aren't familiar with some of the faster pace movements, it might take you a second to recalibrate.) But none of my criticism is for the instructor at all, I enjoyed her class. Studio space is clean and nice but I didn't like how the mirrors there aren't all in one clean line and there's kind of a dissonance between the corner and the rest of the room. I don't know how to describe it but it wasn't architecturally my favourite space I've been in. Again, more a design flaw than criticism of instructor.

see all reviewsI’ve been doing Jaybird for 2 years now, and Adam’s classes are always my favourite! Love his music, clear counting, and cardio bursts. He also has a really friendly presence. Lastly, I appreciate how he reminds us we don’t have to lie in complete stillness during the “shavasana” part and can listen to our bodies. It’s a small thing, but I feel like being completely motionless could be triggering for some people and it makes me feel more empowered this way :)
