see all reviewsI wasn’t sure what to expect but enjoyed the class - Meghan didn’t call out specific speeds like in a Barry’s class but let us pick speed based on exertion levels and previewed how long we’d be maintaining that speed (ie 90 seconds to 4 minutes). Did not love the flashing lights during class in the background but that’s just my preference. Playlist was unique and transitioned between hip hop, 90s rock, 2000s hits, a little EDM. While I’m mostly an outdoor runner I can see myself doing a class in the winter to prep for a race since

The instructor Phill went out of his way to make me feel encouraged and confident, while also providing an effective class. The atmosphere was great. The workout itself was burts of high intensity with recovery periods, which I really enjoyed. I was able to go at my own pace but also felt pushed to do better. I will 100% go back!

I've been a runner, but these days my preferred style of exercise is weight lifting. Natalie was awesome and really helped motivate me to hit 1 mile on the treadmill in a 10 minute portion of the workout, which is definitely not where my pace would be any other day right now. The facility was clean and the amenities were a nice touch. They have two showers in the women's locker room, plus hair dryers, and some hair products, including shampoo and conditioner. I even saw some disposable razors. I'm also a fan of the brands of snacks they have for sale at the front desk, as they're all pretty clean, solid options.

Tracy moved fast during the strength portion, there were times I needed a tad more of a breakdown or pause to change weights. But I think I move a tad slower than most. I’ll be back!

Kiera also provides great cues for the treadmill portion of the class. She lets participants know what speeds are suggested and most importantly how long each "working" block is before recovery - so that participants can adjust their speeds accordingly. This is extremely helpful because on longer blocks you may need to scale the speed back and on shorter blocks you can push the pace. (Other instructors do not always do this which is frustrating) Great all around job Kiera!

It was nice that they offer parking validation, makes parking a little least stressful if you don’t live downtown. Five dollars for a bottle of water was a bit insane lol, but that what I get for not being prepared. Phillips energy was amazing and I’m happy I got to attend one of his first classes back. I couldn’t have chosen a better time to come, it’s “hell week”. I plan to book during the rest of the week

Treadmill portion was awesome, hard to miss the instructions there and the light jog-run-sprint intervals were perfect. For the floor workouts, if you don’t hear the exercises you fall behind a bit but can catch up by looking at others! Instructor talked a bit fast & the music was very loud, however I caught most of what he was saying. Definitely recommend for a fun/challenging class!

I usually do Ride x Lift, so this was my first Run x Lift which I was initially intimidated by, but she led the class so gracefully and offered perfect guidance. Definitely coming back!!

She is super warm & welcoming and doesn’t fail to encourage and motivate you throughout class- highly recommend taking a class with her if and when you can!! The class in it of itself is a super beginner friendly class because all the workouts can be modified and adjusted to your needs and is a great way to start building back up to a workout regimen, but also can be made difficult if you want to challenge yourself. He took the time to welcome me and my friend as we were both newcomers, and he showed us the ropes before the class started. Not once did he make me feel embarassed that I was not as fast or strong as anyone else. When we left he encouraged us to come back and assured us we would see rapid improvement if we did.
