Brilliant work out, especially good if you're having joint problems as it's low impact but still super tough. Blok is a lovely venue but lacking a bit in space in the changing rooms. Considering it labels itself as a high end boutique studio, I don't think you should have to pay for towels.

    CARDIO KILLER

Maiken is the best instructor Ive come across at Blok Shoreditch. Despite way too many people in the room it was a satisfying and really hard workout. I liked Maikens style because she demonstrated exercises during the exercises, not just before. Disappointed that reception allowed a latecomer to join at least 5 minutes after the class had started.

I love this pilates class - the instructor is brilliant. The class really focuses on technique, and doing the moves correctly - the instructor is great at going around the class and providing corrections. It’s slow but intense and doing the moves for longer than some other Pilates classes really gives you chance to think about your form and tune into your body.

So good! For a second, I didn't think it would be hard, and then I was, pardon the pun, sorely mistaken ???? We need more long held poses like this class that will genuinely challenge us. Would be great if the chavasana could be done together until the end as it can feel disrupting when we are allowed to leave and people start leaving the energy space that was created together. I think we would all get more out of it if we stayed in it together and finished together.
