    Reformer Workout

Calm but challenging class, instructor offered small corrections and tips on your form. Pleasant and not overly peppy. Layout of the room is very long, so if she starts at the other end of the room from you it might be a while into an exercise before you get a tip or attention.

Jocelyn was the best instructor to have as a first timer. She was incredibly attentive while still guiding the rest of the class and made me feel comfortable and invited as a newbie to barre. HIGHLY recommend, especially as a beginner. Will be back for sure :)

    Candlelit Restorative

I’ve never had such a wonderful, safe, peaceful, and FUN time practicing as I did with Charlie last night. I’ve been having a string of rough weeks, and they were so kind and gentle with me. No one else showed up, so I had the class to myself, and we worked on what I had requested. Their instruction was clear, and the flow they led me through helped me let go of a lot of tension. I truly do feel restored and seen, and I hope to take more classes with Charlie soon.

I love this class so much! IMO Tara’s yoga studio is one of the best-kept secrets in Brooklyn. Tara is an incredible teacher and the practice space is so beautiful. Her Friday class is also such a wonderful way to kick off your weekend — I’ve never been the type to get up early for workout classes but Tara’s practice is so restorative and energizing that I now look forward to it! Level 0 - Intro to Salsa & Bachata

This was my first time taking salsa/ bachata and when I say this teacher is Amazing!!! I mean it. He gave us counts for every movement which made everything easier and went over things step by step until the class gets it. 10/10 will recommend especially if you’re a first timer like me. Also the receptionist and vibes were great, it felt very welcoming at this studio.❤️‼️

    Beginner - Intermediate Class

It was a different experience for me! I’ve never taken jiu jitsu before or any martial arts class before. The space is small but has enough space for floor work. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The instructor was really informative and walked me through everything. Even the partner I ended up working with was teaching me and explaining the floor work and terms. I recommend not having any jewelry on when coming in such as a septum, and any nose or ear piercing jewelry in. I was told because it was a safety hazard for me which makes complete sense but I couldn’t remove my nose piercings there. I ended up having to watch them do some floor work instead of participating because of it. Next time I will come prepared!
