see all reviewsIt was my first class at this lovely studio with a warm welcome by Ian and Hailey. It’s Christmas Eve and I almost had a private class! I loved the changing room (it might be tight in rush hours) The practice room was spacious with all the equipment. Not so positive : I could hear the teacher next door - which can be disrupting at some point. But my focus was on Hailey’s cues and she gave a nice sequence increasing body heat in a gentle way. I will return to try out different classes and enjoy the chill out room.

It was definitely one of the most challenging classes I’ve taken in awhile, but I appreciated all of the options for modifications. Beth was really attentive and caring, and encouraged us with countdowns and cues. I would definitely come back again!

see all reviewsI recently moved to Portugal and don’t speak any Portuguese, and the instructor didn’t speak English. I thought this might be a challenge, but the instructor did an incredible job communicating through gestures and even using a bit of Google Translate. Thanks to their effort, I had an amazing workout experience! I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic CrossFit experience.

see all reviewsDaniel is excellent! He has a lagree background which means the exercises of the two sides are done separately, usually all left side, some center posture work, then all right side. His classes tend to be lower body focused, a lot of glute work, core work, and there are the obligatory planks and pikes that work the entire body, sometimes with dumbbells for scapular and rib work. Of course all the exercises can work the entire body depending on how well connected one's body is, and how knowledgeable one is about biomechanics to control and manipulate the body. I like his programs a lot because they allow me space to work on what I need in my own body within his framework of exercises.
