see all reviewsBen is a nice guy, and relates well, for a newer bee like me. The class goes by very fast! You need your mat and weights ready for max work out efficiency. I enjoyed, but it’s gonna take more work to get in all the moves. Ben was super chill, and positive about that with me. He mentioned going to Classic Stride, if I just wanted to do a class with just the treadmill.

see all reviewsDid my first class at Mecka today, body lab with Kaylee , and I didn’t know what to expect being that I usually do my full body work outs at home in my living room lol but the class was awesome!! I found it challenging but also felt totally comfortable slowing down when I needed to. Kaylee was motivating and clear with her instructions. I showed up 15 mins early and she was more than happy to give me an individual run down about the class before she started. I also want to add that I am not a runner at all I was a little intimidated by the treadmill part at first but it wasn’t bad!! There weren’t actual numbers called out for the speed so you were able to do the run/sprint parts at whatever you were comfortable with, and Kaylee was generous with the amount of built in recovery time she gave us too so it made you want to push yourself as much as you could during the hard parts! Overall I totally recommend this class no matter what experience level you’re at. It was challenging enough you could go hard if you wanted but also dark enough in there that you feel comfortable taking it as slow as you need to…. ontop of that, everyone was super nice and friendly and willing to help each other out. it was all around just a good time and a great work out! I am excited to take more classes at Mecka !
