    Muay Thai

Enjoyed my first time here in The Lab! Still giving a 5/5 stars (as a beginne even though with the ff observed. Unstructured warm-up as they just told us to do jump ropes and stretch on our own. I came with a friend and she got more 1-on-1 time with a different coach than me. My coach would rotate around 3-4 clients so I got lots of bagwork on my own instead of 1-on-1. What I really like are: the core exercises and assisted stretching by the end. The one who assisted us is very friendly 💯💯

    Women's Self-Defense (Jiu-Jitsu Basics)

One of the best classes I’ve attended! Coach Ali is very approachable and teaches the techniques in a very beginner friendly way. Definitely practical learnings, and at the same time I had fun!

The positions being explained very well by the coach. The place is well-lit and clean but can get cramped when there is a lot of people in the class. Overall a great experience especially for beginners and who wanted to try bjj as their sport.

    Yoga Class

It was a very good class! Our yoga teacher, Kate, was very mindful and considerate of everyone’s skill level and current injury/limitation. I really like how she gave each of us pointers and helped us adjust our poses. There were times when we thought we couldn’t stretch further but with her encouragement we were able to do it. I will be back for sure!

    Beginners No-Gi (Grappling)

Really liked coach Aldo’s approach to teaching beginners. He took the time in showing us the right mindset in starting out Jiu Jitsu as well as letting us experience firsthand the basics of what we should know/understand. He even let us experiment with grappling during the last part which gave me freedom and better understanding of what can be done with my movements.

Coach Ariel is a pro MMA player and trained in different types of martial arts. I had a one on one muay thai session with sparring rounds and a cardio circuit to finish off the whole thing. Gum is well ventilated, water dispenser is also available to use.

    BJJ No Gi class

Coach Ash and Coach Noah were a great duo! One of their students also helped instruct us. I would've liked a warm up or stretches at the start of the class. Overall a fun experience. Atmosphere is safe and welcoming, don't be afraid to book if you're a first timer like us.

    Mixed Martial Arts - MMA

Solid! First MMA class I’ve attended and definitely a great one. The coaches were hands on attentive plus the community is great (tho I was the only girl in class), it wasn’t intimidating at all. Didn’t have any bjj training but should’ve gotten one before going straight with only boxing and muay thai exps. Will definitely try again!
