    Ben has a nice trainer voice :) it is quite amazing how he kept speaking throughout the workout and doesn’t sound tired, there isn’t really any quiet awkward moments. He also provides options and always suggest to drop the weight if we feel fatigue which good, as bodypump is different from other strength classes which focus on overloading

    Zumba + Zumba Toning

    High energy class, a bit of stretching at the end but otherwise solid cardio workout for the whole hour. I was a bit nervous about using the toning sticks for the first time as my arms are not very strong but they weren’t too heavy. Will book this one again!

    Instructor had a very calming voice and instructions were clear! But room wasn’t as hot as I’d have liked, so I didn’t sweat much. Good exercises that really focused on the deeper muscle groups though.

    Muay Thai

    Muay Thai is pain. Started with skipping for 5min as warmup. Then did the basic jab, cross, hook, uppercut, elbow, knee, body kicks and low kicks on the punching bag. After that did a few rounds of sparring with the instructor. For cooldown at the end, did 100 crunches and 10 pushups. Think its quite worth it. Class size was small and costs about the same as boxing.
