    I’m fighting the ubiquitous winter cold/cough and was feeling apprehensive about going to class. Right as I walked in the door, I was greeted by name by all of the instructors and they were so kind to ask me about my holiday season.     A little different than I expected but a really good workout nonetheless. The only thing was the room felt stuffy. I get hot easily (and sweat a lot) and once I started sweating, I couldn’t stop. And I didn’t feel like I was working extremely hard to be sweating that much. They could use some fans, because there was no air flow.

    This wasn’t my first ballet cardio class but the first with this teacher! It was nice to have a new teacher because she had different variations of the ballet cardio moves and had some different transitions. I liked that she finished with a stretch period and stretches between sets of moves. I also liked that she did a lot of the exercises with us, which helped me see what to do! She’s also very upbeat and friendly! You can tell she really enjoys what she’s doing! Thanks for a great class!

    I liked this class a lot better than I thought I would. I didn’t sweat as much as I wanted but I got a lot of great pointers on form. I tend to develop my traps easily and Coach Erin kept helping me tweak my form so I would work more of my back and less of my shoulder and trapezius area.     Marquise is a great instructor. He’s amazing at explaining the poses. He also was good at getting me to meditate throughout the class. I liked that he held announcements before and after but not during the class. I do not feel like the studio overall deserves 5 stars because a 5 star review. A 5 start review for me would have a nice modern studio with nice locker rooms and the best Bikram class that explained the purpose of the poses, proper correction and the ability to meditate throughout the 90mins. However, I gave this studio many 4 star reviews in the past and I believe the studio should get a 4.2-4.4 start review. This 5 star review should even put my previous ratings.

    Absolutely loved this workout! I usually do classpass in Seattle but am currently In the area visiting family. Usually, i find it hard to find gyms in SE LA that are just as high quality as the boutique spots you find around Seattle. But this one is phenomenal. Pretty solid and varied workout - everybody was sweating buckets. The gym has a nice community and everyone pushes each other. Will keep coming back when I’m in town!

I didn’t really know what to expect, but the instructor (big gauges and double nose piercings) really took a couple of seconds to help me adjust my form and clarify why we were doing certain activities.
