Tara is truly one of the best instructors in nyc. I’ve been taking class with her since she was at another studio that closed pre covid and she’s still so great at her job. The AC worked great in this class, and I loved the mirrors on the ceiling but they are so trippy and tbh don’t add much to the workout not guna lie. There are almost 30 reformers in this studio which is huge- almost 3x the size of every other studio. I can see that being an issue for other instructors but not Tara. She somehow had eyes everywhere on everyone. Would go back.

The instructor provides modifications as needed, which I always appreciate in any workout class. I found this class difficult especially the ab series, but I would definitely take Meagan’s class again.

    Core Tone & Sculpt

This studio has the best pilates reformer classes in the area (and I’ve tried many, manyyyy studios). Challenging, but has pacing slow enough for them to place a strong emphasis on correct form. I always come out their classes feeling great and strong. I wouldn’t say this class is true beginner friendly, but definitely doable once you have 1-3 classes under your belt.
