Hot Yoga University
2501 North Scottsdale Road, ScottsdaleSafety guidelinesHot Yasa
see all reviewsGreat class! I have never sweat so much and it felt great. Only note I have is that the instructor’s mic cut out a few times and I think that the room should be cooler by the time shavasana rolls around.

see all reviewsLove this studio and especially this Instructor. She’s friendly with a sweet kind energy to her. I appreciate how she walks around the room as she cues while bringing us in and out of each pose effortlessly. Her encouragement through the challenging flows was amazing. Simply a beautifully and well balanced class overall!

Tess especially is a great instructor who always adds suggestions and tips for better form. Her words of encouragement and positivity at the end of class always brighten my day. 🩷 grateful for her!
They offer a variety of heated and hot yoga classes that will strengthen your body…Flow
see all reviewsGreat instructor, with a solid intermediate flow style. Favorite things: 1. She eases into the practice with a gentle warm-up and long cool down, 2. There is some free time to practice any poses you want, and 3. The transitions between poses are good and intuitive. Only thing I didn’t like (most teachers at Black Swan do this) are when the nicely paced initial flow sequences speed up into breath to movement fast paced flows—they are too fast for most of us to do the poses correctly.

see all reviewsThis class is more than just practice; it’s a healing experience. Nikki is incredible, with an emphasis on breath-to-movement and keeping yogis focused on every subtle shift, guiding them to make adjustments. Unlike other studios, where they let the sequence flow and leave it up to the room to complete, often without much recollection, here you're fully engaged.

see all reviewsThis was my first time in Garry’s class, he had just returned from study in Indian. I really appreciates his sharing with us some of what he learned there and working with different mudras and breath work and with more of the ancient practices. I felt much more connected and grounded during the class and even though it was hard I welcomed the discipline.

see all reviewsCaroline was so sweet! She was extremely patient and flexible with the group. She did well by explaining each of the poses that we were going to engage in. She also gave modifications for each of the poses if there were beginners in the class. You’re able to go at your own pace and just find your own flow. I highly recommend this class for individuals that would like to release any stress and anxiety. 10/10, don’t be afraid to try this class.

see all reviewsThis gym is great, they have pretty much any equipment you can ask for, full locker rooms with showers and towels provided, and an infrared sauna. It's usually not too busy (though I go in the afternoon, not sure what it looks like at 5:30 on a weekday), the staff and Bryan the manager are super friendly and inviting. Also, they are very relaxed with the "1-hour window" of open gym, so you don't need to feel rushed. Great experience.

see all reviewsWhat a gem. The studio has the ambiance of a cute boutique, but is spacious with showers, changing areas, and a large studio with a wall of windows to practice. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the other students were kind and inclusive. The 2 hour master class I attended was challenging, incorporating both Bikram and Ashtanga poses and transitions. Anthony was a warm instructor and I very much enjoyed my time here. if I wasn't from out of town visiting, I'd definitely return.

Deep Healing
see all reviewsIt was my first time at this studio and taking this sort of class but I really loved it. I could definitely feel a synergy amongst the practitioners in the class and actually thought to myself I was glad to be a part of the class in the moment. The class consisted of deep but gentle stretching and it was neat to follow the chanting interspersed throughout the class. Felt very aware of the present moment. It was also neat being able to pull a card at the beginning of the class. Overall, a very beautiful and welcoming studio.

see all reviewsReally loved this class - you can tell Gabrielle is deeply knowledgeable about the physical and the mental practices of yoga. I will definitely be coming back for more of her classes! A note for Trilogy management - I wish the teachers were more empowered to stick to the policy for late students and not let them in once class has started. A few people came in late to this class and the teacher had to stop cueing to direct them where to set up. I don’t mean that to be reflective of Gabrielle at all, this has happened in plenty of classes at this studio and it’s always incredibly disruptive. It would be nice if the teachers felt supported to turn away late students for the sake of those who did make it to class on time

see all reviewsAmber was a real treat, made sure to introduce herself to everyone that was new, ask about their practices, injuries, what they wanted, etc. This was a mixed class in terms of skill, so it moved a little slower and less strenuous than I usually go for. However, I think that’s laid out in the description and hand up, I'm not a big reader and definitely don't know what most of the yoga terms mean. You would think I would learn them, but you'd be wrong. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. The studio was small but comfortable, the class was cool, and Amber was a great instructor.

I couldn’t believe all the cool things I got to experience within just a brief 1-hour intro class!! I swear I feel taller too! My spine is so decompressed. It was like a normal yummy yoga flow mixed with lots of awesome supports and assists from the silks plus we learned a couple of cool tricks! Highly recommend!!!

see all reviewsNice studio! Not quite as hot as I went in thinking. It is certainly heated but not like “hot” compared to CorePower or Y6. Having showers onsite is certainly nice perk too! Instructions was good but the layout was a little strange, had never been in a class where the students were perpendicular to the teacher. Made it a little difficult to see what we were doing in some parts of the class but overall it was a wonderful class with modifications to make it easier or harder depending on what you need.

see all reviewsV12 Yoga is a hidden gem in the city. The small class sizes, often with fewer than eight people, make for a truly intimate and personalized experience. On a few occasions, I've even had the privilege of a one-on-one session. Practicing yoga on the second floor of a historic building, with the city skyline as a backdrop, adds a unique and serene atmosphere to each class. One of the standout features of V12 Yoga is the ample parking. Living downtown, I often avoid certain activities because finding parking can be such a hassle. However, V12 Yoga has a private parking lot with plenty of spaces, making it incredibly convenient. Its location near the farmers' market is also a bonus—perfect for grabbing a bite to eat after class.
