see all reviewsTina was super energetic and cued all the transitions seamlessly… being a first timer to Barry’s I appreciated it. She demoed all the floor moves and gave modifications and ways to level up! Loved the loud EDM beats. You definitely have to like it LOUD though (earplugs available) And thought the shout out to a member’s 100th class was a special touch… way to build community. I look to the next class. Used the showers so I could go to work my night shift right after and they were luxurious. Products that were provided were fab.

see all reviewsKiller workout. Very challenging but surprisingly the class was almost all women who were well over age 40! It was easy to modify but not for beginners, they didnt really demo the moves or give much feedback regarding form.

see all reviewsThis was one of my favorites of the (many) places I checked out with my classpass trail and first month, and was one of my favorites. It doesn’t take itself as seriously as some of the other boot camp places I went like Barry’s, which I appreciated, but the instructor knows her stuff, pays attention to form and will help instruct to make sure you are doing things right. It’s also just a good workout. Highly recommend.

see all reviewsI've been to a lot of gyms all over the south bay and peninsula during my few months of class pass, because there was always something lacking. Franchises have quality equipment but are dull and lack spirit, boutique gyms have great spirit and coaches but usually lack quality equipment, many places are good for beginners but their classes don't cater to more advanced folks,.. etc. Congratulations for Core Total Fitness for checking all the boxes, with quality equipment, a nice space, the right ambience with good music and lots of sunlight from huge windows, great spirit, and most importantly an awesome workout plan that catered to all levels in the group.

Bootcamp- Group Class
see all reviewsI felt like the workout was pretty solid, however I felt like the instructor seemed cold and irritated running the class. One woman was late, and she talked about her behind her back says " ugh if she doesn't come, she's really going to F it up"....which i found a bit drammatic because i dont think it would have made a difference. Also, before the class started I was singled out and told " if you need to throw up... do it outside, do NOT go inside and do it" as if she already assumed looking at me I wouldnt be able to keep up or handle the class . My gym is in the city , so when I come to Palo Alto to visit my boyfriend I use Class Pass in order to get my workout in. I just kinda felt dismissed since I'm a " class pass" memeber, and not a membership paying member. Also it was a bit offputting that the bathroom facilities were off-limits to non members( class-pass). Other then my home gym, I attend a variety of classes using Class Pass ; basecamp, Barrys, core yoga, core 40 etc ,and I've never been denied to use the bathrooom/shower facilities . It just wasn't mentioned on their website so I found that a bit odd, and maybe they should update that. Because I thought I would be able to shower up before going on with my day. With all of that said, I may still go to the class again, because the workout is primarily outside and you get a good sweat, and it's for many fitness levels ...but I wouldn't recommend the gym to anyone.
