Great studio and instructor. It's definitely a happy place to work out. He used to walk around and wipe down equipment during class and hasn't been lately. They should start that again. Doing a push up on a bosu staring at someone else's sweat is pretty gross.

I was a little worried after reading the reviews about flowing without guidance but I was pleasantly surprised. The instructor provides guidance for the first few times you do a specific flow and then gives you a few minutes to run through it a few times on your own. I’ve never gone to a yoga class structured like this but I thought it was really nice.

Great class! Charity is a great motivator, explains and denos all the moves. I have been going to Carries almost 2 years and she is the first to demo the nuances about these megaformers to me and the newbies. She went around the entire class checking everyones technique. I love Carries for the high energy workouts that always have a great play list and over all the instructors are very good. Charity ranks among the top for me.

Aaron's class is tough. Legit thought I was about to pass out at one point. He has you doing push-ups and burpees between bag combos. I was in the front bag row and I was able to see but I would have been screwed at any other row. The facility is very clean. There is a lot of bike parking out front. I wouldn't recommend biking though if you're going to this guys class. I was struggling on my ride home.

I really like Morgans class best! I like GRIT and their studio, staff and format and I like that the classes are to the beat and have a lot of choreography to keep me distracted.. Morgan is my favorite because some instructors get into the super super fast tempo for the majority of the class. Super fast is fun... but I appreciate that Morgan mixes in some hill climbs and other elements into her workouts.. I feel like theres more variety and Im using different muscles (and I like her long weight lift songs!). The studio is great overall, but after a few months, I had to give a shout-out to Morgan!

I am generally not the biggest fan of spinning though I do occasionally find a studio or instructor that gives me a glimpse into what everyone else is so jazzed about and I guess this is one of those for me. This was the best Barry's class I've been to. I REALLY liked the format of eight-minute treadmill intervals, each consisting of two-minute runs spaced out by recovery walks. That felt much more reasonable and attainable than the classes that involve 21-minute treadmill intervals, where it's so long that you just know it's impossible and don't try as hard. Also Allie's floor work was easy to understand and she gave the most individual attention I've had at Barry's - including pushing me to hit my fastest sprint pace (three times)!
