What I pleasure to be lead by Zephyr, someone who is so very anatomically aware and this was so evident in the questions she asked of those with injuries, suggesting standing with feet hip width apart and bending knees or raising the toes as a way to better tilt the pelvis. This is such a lovely studio! And I love that it feels so community orientated. CJ was a great teacher. He’s so knowledgeable about this style of yoga and fun to learn from. The class was slightly challenging, both physically and emotionally, but this, as CJ says, is part of the practice. I would say that unless you have a basic understanding of yoga prior to this class, you’ll probably feel lost - thankfully I knew what a vinyasa is and how to do it without guidance. In the same breath, you don’t need to be at any particular level. Overall, I will 100% be talking about and recommending this class to people. Thank you CJ and Yoga at the Arc!

Robin was awesome! The class vibe is over the roof, Robin is keeping a great atmosphere motivating people and clearly stating instructions which is very important. The room set up is dark with disco looking lights which follow the music beat nicely. Robin is mixing the music live for the class bringing uniqueness to the training. I have been training for a year, however, only done a spinning class once in the past. This class made me sweat a lot and have a high pulse, it is very intense cardio. Easy check in to the gym, everything is clean and organized. Totally recommend it.

This was a very intense class - not for beginners but it is the most calories I’ve ever burned in spin! Really good energy and the instructor took the time to go over the bike for me as it was my first time there. Important to note that they do not have cleats and you also have to take your own padlock (or buy from reception) for the lockers (this is made very clear on the description but I can see other people have complained they didn’t know). The gym itself is nice, at reception I was told to just go downstairs and it is quite a confusing layout so make sure to go there early to look around. The showers are nice but there was a bit of mould on the shelf which was a shame. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided along with towels (get from reception), but no face wash or other toiletries that other gyms provide. Plenty of space in the locker room.
