Total Body (50 Minutes)
see all reviewsClass was AMAZING! My first Barry’s in NYC post-Covid and it was awesome. I agree with other reviewers that the studio is a bit small, but it didn’t impact me and I just used the mirrors if I was ever lost. Josiah had great energy and great music!

see all reviewsThis was the best P.volve class Ive taken. Lex was incredibly clear and the mix of moves was challenging and I liked that a lot of different equipment was used. Ive found previous classes Ive taken a little too slow or light on resistance/weight but the pacing and burn for this class was perfect

see all reviewsWell damn. It made Barry’s look like a walk in the park. We had 2 15 second breaks in a 45 min class! Super worth it. Loved the teaching. Really appreciated the encouragement. Holy moly what a workout. (And I work out a lot!)

see all reviewsTaylor was so great!! The best barre class I’ve taken in awhile. Challenging in such a good way. Taylor has such a good vibe, gave modifications to make each move easier or more challenging. Class went by so fast! Can’t wait to come back.

see all reviewsGreat cardio and kickboxing class. Class stared off with an intense 10 min of straight body weight cardio and shadow boxing (jump squats, burpees, lunges, jumping jacks, mountain climbers etc). Then class was split in half. Half doing standard circuits (dumbbell renegade rows, box jumps and tricep dips, treadmill, rope pulls, med ball slams) whole the other half of class did different bag work combination stations- one station being with the instructor. Class ended with sit ups and dumbbell shadow boxing/lifts/curls.

see all reviewsFirst time, was the only one there at 7p (in btw Xmas and NYE, hence unusual attendance), but still a great experience. Cole still held class, made me feel super comfortable and had great energy / knowledge. Workout seemed oriented on a series of sets, usually with an EMOM anchoring the middle, not quite HIIT but there’s something in each set to make sure the heart rate stays up. Class would be tough if it’s your first time EVER working out, but still very accessible if you say do some dumbbell/kettlebell strength and cycling/HIIT type classes elsewhere - but want to extend your skill set w/ say basic lifting.

see all reviewsSmall, intimate class with a wonderfully attentive and caring instructor. Unique holistic workout centered on functional resistance exercises involving mats, weights, and dynamic movements. Angelo's demonstrations and instructions were clear and he focused on helping each student as often as needed. Lots of great lactic acid build-up and feeling the burning of muscles. Just need some comfortable sneakers/grip socks/bare feet and water. Happie Space also prides themselves on their meditation sessions and plant vitamins for a holistic way to take care of the body and the mind. Amazing experience, loved the small class and great attitudes!!

see all reviewsI absolutely LOVED this class! It's one of my favorite workout classes I've ever taken. It combined elements of toning/cardio/dance/ barre and never got boring. It was challenging but Jessica always kept an eye out for form and she is so sweet. I can't wait to take this class again!

see all reviewsFlow with Mikee is fantastic! I’ve been doing yoga for years & have gone to dozens of studios in NY & BK. He’s a true gem! Highly recommend. My only critic is the studio itself... I find the Crunch studio incredibly cold for its yoga classes. To the point of being uncomfortable. I really wish they would turn off the air & fans for the yoga classes.

see all reviewsWhat a fun class. I went with a friend. In the summer, It’s 12 people on a rooftop doing ab and balance work on surfboards that are set On Balance balls. This guy seems to know a lot about surfing (I know nothing), so it was an educational and fun session. I’d go back for the workout personally, not sure if I have an interest in surfing—both motives were welcome though. If you did have an interest, it sounds like a fun place to meet people.
