b3 Mindful Flow 45
see all reviewsPeople at the front desk were very friendly and asked right away if it was my first class. They gave me a quick tour and explained what to expect. There are lockers available and the front door is locked during class which I thought was nice. The studio has like a yoga mat style floor so you don’t wear shoes inside. You can do socks or barefoot, most people had socks. This class was kind of yoga-ish: lots of warrior flows, chair pose, balance stuff. It was tiring but not overwhelming for a new person. I thought it was a nice balance of stretching too. Music was slightly loud which made it a little difficult sometimes to hear the instructor but easy enough to follow what everyone else is doing.
The studio is calling your name. Our efficient + effective workout combines strength…Gentle Yoga Stretch
see all reviewsThis was truly hot yoga, I could see the thermostat said 103 😮 The instructor was friendly and welcoming in getting me checked in and seemed to have a rapport with all the regulars coming in. There was instrumental music which was fine and relaxing and seemed appropriate for the relaxed tone of the class. The instructor was sometimes hard to understand so I relied sometimes on watching what others were doing. I did notice some people made grunts during the class which was a little distracting but maybe can’t be helped sometimes. Maybe the noise just carried for some reason.
East Lansing Hot Yoga offers a life-enhancing, all bodies welcome, wonderfully diverse…Yin + Yoga Nidra
see all reviewsWonderful slow relaxing class. I had never done yoga Nidra before, but it’s like guided relaxation meditation thing. It was wonderful. This is not a “workout” it’s like a super restorative relaxation time with very gentle stretching.
