    DEEP HEAT STRETCH

Practicing yoga at Sweatheory is truly an experience like no other. They offer all types of yoga (Sweaty Soul Yoga, Hot Power Yoga, and Deep Heat Stretch to name a few) in a heated infrared sauna. Unlike other hot yoga classes I've attended, Infrared delivers a really dry heat, so even though I get SUPER sweaty - I never feel like I'm choking to death on hot + humid air. Any class at Sweatheory will challenge you - but you'll feel like a strong, powerful, unstoppable human leaving the studio. The list of benefits from exposure to infrared heat is a mile long, so even if you just sit on your mat during the entire class (which is also acceptable!) you'll walk away feeling incredible. For me - the joy of any place is in the details. At Sweatheory, I love the alkaline water on tap, the stunning salt wall installation inside the yoga studio, the chilled essential oil towels during shavasana, and the ability to rent sweat mats for a little extra grip. Other services they offer that I'm excited to try include vitamin injections, classes/ceremonies, and private infrared sessions. The onlyyyy thing that would make this place absolutely perfect for me is if the instructors were allowed to offer hands on assists and adjustments. My body is so stretchy and bendy during a session, I find myself craving a little extra push.

    Aerial Unwinding

I absolutely LOVED Aerial Unwind with Rosie! I’ve been to several yoga hammock classes in the past. Typically it feels like a lot of play with very little structure. Aerial Unwind with Rosie was totally different! The class was thoughtful and had a beautiful flow - despite how clumsy it can feel to stretch with silks at times. Rosie is deeply knowledgeable and connected with her expertise. Everything we did had a purpose, but it was still really fun!!! I felt like I got SO MUCH out of my hour at Yoga Patch and a I can’t wait to deepen my practice with Rosie as a guide.

The space was warm and comfortable. The instructor and other members were friendly. The instructor gave options for modifications and she was very kind. I am looking forward to attending another class soon.

    YS - Yoga Sculpt

Krystal is the BEST! She brings so much energy to a 6 am class. Hands down my favorite sculpt teacher. Also, such a nice change to have real hand on examples and guidance after being to other yoga studios in Kansas cities sculpt classes that are not very helpful with poses or form!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the yoga studio with Marti and Joyce, two fantastic instructors. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making it easy to feel comfortable in the space. The studio itself was incredibly relaxing and spacious, providing plenty of room to practice and complete classes without feeling cramped. Overall, I highly recommend this yoga studio to anyone looking for an excellent and relaxing yoga experience.

    Hot 90

It was a very full class and hotter than I expected (I think she said it was 105). It was almost too hot for me at times. I really liked the flow of this class. I also arrived about 5 minutes late (called ahead and let the instructor know) and she was very polite about it.

Low impact class. I like a more intense class, but the teacher led us through a nice slow sequence. Good for beginners or people wanting a good stretch class!

    Express Float 45 Minute

If visiting for the first time, I would set aside an extra 30 minutes on top of the 1 hour block for your 45 minute express float (due to check-in and procedure overview). Also utilize the Vaseline provided for nicks and cuts—it’s winter time, so put some on your hands to prevent 1,200lbs of salt from finding you! ;) #classpassinsider

    Hatha

I feel incredible after Zoes class! Zoe utilizes every inch of your yoga mat with her creative mandala-inspired flow. The class focused on slow and controlled movement with deep breathing. It was honestly just as challenging as a fast paced class (but with considerably less sweat). The studio itself is beautifully decorated, calming, and stocked with any prop your heart could desire. The sandbags they supply are SUCH a treat during shavasana. Every detail was thought of, there was even a space set up for me with props before I arrived and Zoe made it a point to memorize my name. Even though the studio is QUITE a drive from my house, Ill definitely be back!
