    Ok I’ve been searching for a place in the area that has a genuinely positive experience. Newport/costa mesa/ Huntington can have some not so friendly people . Everyone here was incredibly nice - both the instructor and the patrons. It didn’t feel cliquey at all. The workout was hard and cardio heavy but I could pace myself. None of the moves were, but you definitely feel your muscles working. They set everything up for you too! It’s the first workout in a while that I actually feel good after. Hugely positive experience. I will back for sure! Thank you Nicole so much!

    Matt is a great, positive instructor! We had a big class and he made sure to give us each special attention and correct our form throughout class so we could have a safe, effective workout. He even recommended shoes to fix the pain in my arch (I am heel-striking hard in my soft cloud shoes and need to relearn my walk.) Anyhow, highly, highly recommend him! One more note: I am a big fan of all of the instructors I’ve had at Para. They are all positive, helpful, and seem to really care about their students!

I’m not super motivated to strength train by myself so I really liked the idea of a structured class like this. The structure of the class is incredibly efficient and targets the right muscles. Warm up, a few rounds/sets of different lifts/exercises, a cardio burnout, and then stretching. Super amazing place, great quality workout equipment, and the coach Tami was awesome and made sure I had proper form and was super nice and encouraging. I will be back once I recover!😂

I prob need to take some more attention to figuring out which weight I’m at though; I think I overestimated my strength with stamina, as there are many reps and when I typically lift it’s to gain strength so I do heavier weights less times. This was a great challenge to provide a better all around fitness when working it in along with weight lifting. I’m ‘pumped’ to come again! Thank you! Also the front desk was super friendly and the facility was clean; though there were quite a few things that were in need of repair when looking around; including the steam room and the filtered water fountain, just a matter of time I’m sure.
