see all reviewsBrown belt instructor: at the beginning of class. There were 3 students. Most were late lol! By the end, there were more than 10. The Master taught us how to get a single leg take down by seemingly combine Judo and Wrestling techniques. We grab the Gi as we would in Judo, and then we yank down, and grab the single leg like in Wrestling, and then run the pipe. Then we knee drag and swing the arm into underhook and take back or cross face and take side control. We ended with sparring. Because L. Hehan is a 0 degree white belt, he got tapped out by a black belt using the exact same submission twice in a row. L. Hehan prays that as he practices, he shall improve :(

see all reviewsGreat classes with Spencer. Kudo offers the best of the world of traditional martial arts (respect, self-control, techniques) with the efficacy of a fullon combat sport. Using a helmet as protection feels very safe and allows to play more. Highly recommended!
