see all reviewsat first, it’s kinda intimidating for me. I am powerless, I don’t know anyone, and it’s my first time to do a real workout. I just workout for stress relief in daily basis, and have improper movement and breathing techniques. turns out, coach rama guide and teach me based on my own pace.. i make repeated mistakes, and forgot the guidance for my movements.. and he told me it’s very common for the first timer which is make more calm than before.. I am satisfied with the session, and I would consider to come again and at the same time strengthen myself more personally outside of the training.

see all reviewsarin is a fantastic teacher! it's a beginner-friendly class but still a good challenge for regular yogis. she gives clear cues and checks on alignment; also love that she takes the time to explain yoga philosophy. if you're looking for a more intentional practice that isn't just about doing poses but cultivating a deeper appreciation of yoga as a mind-body practice, i would recommend arin's classes :)

Will definitely come back!

see all reviewsClass went for the full 2 hours. Warm up included 10m skipping, dynamic stretches, technical drills with a partner. Each student has 3x rounds of 2-minute padwork with the trainer, followed by in-depth techniques, then sparring and quick stretching. The class was structured with a lot of guidance and correction from the trainers. I enjoyed it a lot, even as someone with years of experience. Thanks to the trainers Ice and another whose name I didn't catch for an excellent session - the best I've tried in Bangkok so far.

The Professor asked us to drill double leg take down, then he taught us how to escape backtake and rear naked choke by turning the body to form a T shape perpendicular to the enemy’s body, and then move the shoulders onto the floor. We then did positional sparring starting with backtake. Because L. Hehan is a 0 degree white belt, he was unable to submit his enemies with an RNC. L. see all reviewsBlack belt instructor: around 10 students or so. After warming up with guard passing/guard retention related drills, we played a game with two players trying to touch each other’s shoulders and knees. The Professor then taught us a self defence technique when our enemy throws a wild haymaker: you rush in to intercept the arm with both of your arms in front of your face. Afterwards, you immediately swing the opposite side arm into an underhook and go to his side and push him. Next you let go of the remaining frame and insert double underhooks and then clinch him and bend him backwards to take him down in a wrestling style. If that does not work, I put my butt against him and lift him up and take him down in a judo style. In the end, we did positional sparring where the top person needed to maintain side control and the bottom person needed to escape. Because L. Hehan is a 0 degree white belt, he was unable to properly escape his enemy’s side control. L. Hehan prays that as he practices, he shall improve :(

We started with skipping to warm up, then went through jab-cross basics, hit the heavy bag, and did some light partner drills (jab-cross, a bit of sparring, and ducking). Towards the end, we combined everything - jab, cross, duck - into a simple combo. Super beginner-friendly and easy to follow. Only thing missing was a cool down at the end. A short stretch would've been nice after all that punching!

Instructor: Dude was wearing a brazil t-shirt so I assume that is where he was from; 3 students but the big dude was late, so we had a semi-private class for almost half an hour. The professor asked me to do 50 jumping jets, 50 burpees, and 50 push ups as warm up. The teenager did not do them. I reckon it was because he had done the youth class right before this one. I then learned how to pass by enemy’s guard using the Tory Round Doe pass, then go on knee-on-belly. As my enemy tries to push my knee away, i grab his arm and defeat him with an arm bar or key moo ra. Because I am a beginner, I had trouble keeping my balance in the movements. We ended the class with 100 sit ups and one minute plank. Normally I can do 30 secs only, but today there were people doing Muay Thai sparring, which distracted me so I forgot about how hard the plank was, so I wnded up doing the full 60 seconds lol. I pray that as I practice, I will improve ;)
