Even though many people are experienced or come to the class regularly, he was still mindful that not everyone is at the same level and gave constant tips on form to make sure we were getting the best possible workout.

The class was well laid out and I loved the play time and use of props. The music was so good too! The actual space was minimal, with only one bathroom and no showers, and the mats / towels are not very nice. The room isn’t hot but it is warm and the mirrors and adjustments to lighting were wonderful. This class wasn’t a challenging workout but it was a beautiful space to mindfully meditate through a physical practice.

see all reviewsPracticing yoga at Sweatheory is truly an experience like no other. They offer all types of yoga (Sweaty Soul Yoga, Hot Power Yoga, and Deep Heat Stretch to name a few) in a heated infrared sauna. Unlike other hot yoga classes I've attended, Infrared delivers a really dry heat, so even though I get SUPER sweaty - I never feel like I'm choking to death on hot + humid air. Any class at Sweatheory will challenge you - but you'll feel like a strong, powerful, unstoppable human leaving the studio. The list of benefits from exposure to infrared heat is a mile long, so even if you just sit on your mat during the entire class (which is also acceptable!) you'll walk away feeling incredible. For me - the joy of any place is in the details. At Sweatheory, I love the alkaline water on tap, the stunning salt wall installation inside the yoga studio, the chilled essential oil towels during shavasana, and the ability to rent sweat mats for a little extra grip. Other services they offer that I'm excited to try include vitamin injections, classes/ceremonies, and private infrared sessions. The onlyyyy thing that would make this place absolutely perfect for me is if the instructors were allowed to offer hands on assists and adjustments. My body is so stretchy and bendy during a session, I find myself craving a little extra push.

see all reviewsToday was my 5th Glutecamp class with Hayley. I love her playlist, the fun active vibe of the studio with the neon lights and this new work out idea of moving between 3 sets on the stair master and 3 on the floor. I also took one total body weight circuit class with Ray and loved that as well for the same reasons - great music, fun and keeps you moving. I would NEVER work out this hard alone on the stair master and she keeps it challenging and varied by having us do single steps, then 2 steps, cross over and sideways. Already I have gotten stronger and increased my starting base. I am dead after class which is a GREAT feeling! I appreciate that she walked around the whole studio to check form several times during class. She corrected my clam shell form and hip raises. I never knew how to properly do them so I am happy for the one on one feedback. Love that! Overall I found this way more fun than other classes that mixed cardio and exercise (Burn, Studio climber, Speed X, Barry’s etc - although I do like Barry’s). For management, the only complaint which seems to be a common one among attendees is their policy that requires us to either rent or spend $40 for the “equipment” - ankle straps, booty band and hip circle (fabric resistance band). Outside equipment is not permitted so you can’t buy elsewhere to save. Natural Pilates, Barry’s, Bodyline Pilates - no other studio makes us do that. Renting means an extra $6/class. Their reason is that they have perfected and standardized the equipment for the class. But our abilities and strengths are different and change. So if we are stronger shouldn’t we need stronger bands? Well if you insist we buy yours, then why not price the package a little lower to be competitive to what we can buy elsewhere and at least have the cult following coming to class. Then you might also find everyone preferring yours, especially if you made them all the fun orange color or just because it is emblazoned with your Bunda B. But $40/ bundle or an extra $6/class is a lot and adds up. Have to see if I decide to continue going with so many other options available.
