Well this is weird. I loved it! I am generally not the biggest fan of spinning though I do occasionally find a studio or instructor that gives me a glimpse into what everyone else is so jazzed about and I guess this is one of those for me. Chris was so friendly and had great energy- lead an invigorating class. The studio is clean and chic. Cassidy at the front desk was also very welcoming.

    Full Body (60 Minutes)

This was the best Barry's class I've been to. I REALLY liked the format of eight-minute treadmill intervals, each consisting of two-minute runs spaced out by recovery walks. That felt much more reasonable and attainable than the classes that involve 21-minute treadmill intervals, where it's so long that you just know it's impossible and don't try as hard. Also Allie's floor work was easy to understand and she gave the most individual attention I've had at Barry's - including pushing me to hit my fastest sprint pace (three times)!

Jess is great. I can’t leave her enough great reviews. She challenges me, physically and emotionally. She gets it, in the sense that the desire for change doesn’t need to come from a place of pain or hurting, and that the process of changing can be joyful. Working out doesn’t feel like punishment or penance or all the other anxieties that come with exercise for some people (like me, who struggle with eating disorders and body image). I love hearing her talk during class cause it’s encouraging on a deeper level and gets me out of my head. Oh, and I leave that place dripping wet.

    BESPOKE Ride

Ericas class is Top 3 in LA - if youre a rhythm rider, she has immaculate timing to the music with creative, fun, and challenging choreography with lotssss of high intensity intervals. I was on cloud 9 in her class. I cant wait to be back very soon.

    HPF - Hot Power Fusion

HPF is my favorite class at CP - a great sweat that leaves you feeling strong and relaxed. this was my first time at the Hollywood location and its really nice. only con is that parking was $6 because i took a shower and shopped after for leggings. 90 mins is $2.50 so dont go a minute over that and youre good! Alexa was super sweet.
