    Classic Rock was a great change today! Reminded me of when Dennis was leading classes. I get that the majority of customers are < 25 yo.... and there's a perception that most would not be into lots of hills, but I personally appreciate, purposeful or not, that the variety takes into consideration and reaches out beyond the same old same old. I've seen classes at other cycle studios geared more specific to hills/climbs with focus on strength. I'm hoping to see that become an option at Zyn.

    This place really exceeded my expectations. I do HIIT, strength training, and reformer Pilates 3-5x a week, and I will be sore from this!! The class was structured as 7 minutes each at 5 stations (largely, alternating between 2 exercises, with weights primarily strength and some cardio exercises). The front desk staff was so welcoming, with a locker set up for me with my name on it and an explanation of the workout. The instructor led us through a warmup, then demoed all moves, which are also on screens around the room to remind you. The instructor (safely) pushed me to increase weight, and helped correct form. This place would be great to join if you live locally, and is also a gem to drop into if you’re just visiting like me, which is a tough balance to strike. Highly recommend!

    The instructors here are awesome. It’s unfortunate that the microphones malfunction constantly. You would think corporate would buy them some microphones at work but I’ve been coming here for over a year and it’s consistently an issue. I feel bad for the people that work here. They constantly apologize for it and try to make the best of it but it’s brutal. I’ve never seen anything like it. How much can a microphone cost?

    The class, my first at Cyclebar, was awesome! Upon entering I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. I had many questions and they patiently provided answers. I was surprised to know that there were cycle shoes available to use during the ride. This is fantastic-the session was much smoother. I had been cycling with non-cycle shoes and there is indeed a difference. I enjoyed how the instructor interacted with everyone. It made my first time feel as though I had been there many times. Allie is an energetic and encouraging instructor. I look forward to the next ride.
