First class with Melissa and she had us doing moves I’ve never done before - was incredibly beneficial to move in a new way. Was a great way to end a busy week!

I am recovering from a back injury and Babette was super helpful with adjusting my movements. It was my first time and this studio and while it is quaint, it super cute and clean! Also, beware, if you sign up through classpass you don’t get to sign up for their $30 for 2 weeks unlimited deal which is the reason I was checking out the studio in the first place- but I figured I’d pass that info along in case someone had the same idea!

The teacher was good but they are not equipped to have as many people in the class as they did. The teacher was overwhelmed during set up, and the class was uncomfortable. Maybe put down tape? Or let fewer people register. I was unhappy before and during the class.

    Pure Booty

Maya employs a very unique approach to strength training. This class is challenging but without sweating buckets. You do targeted work on your butt muscles. Moves you wouldn’t think to really do. You won’t sweat a lot but you’ll feel it. SORE.

Great friendly, neighborhood studio. I don’t know how she does it but Emily always knows exactly what I need without me knowing it myself. I don’t get into the spirituality of yoga, but this class truly left me feeling reborn and great.

Shieri is a great instructor and I love her taste in music! The class starts off with some core work, and then goes into a slow flow. It’s good for somebody who knows the fundamentals but still on the beginner side of their practice.

Instructor was very helpful and kind. Held poses for longer so I could focus on alignment and breath; a nice departure from other classes I take elsewhere. Only three people in the class total.

If you are looking for a REAL boxing class taught by someone who’s clearly been doing this for 2+ decades, this is your class. Tough, not a beginner class but easy enough to follow along if you have no experience. Already motivated to go back and do better than the last time. No frills gym but a great workout.

    BreatheEasy

The studio is on a beautiful garden level of a brownstone, in a perfectly spacious sized long room. This is my first time at a group meditation and it was eye opening, time passed by slowly and quickly at the same time as I followed Jessecca’s voice. The routine worked in harmony with acute awareness of the body and it’s surrounding, in ways through senses that I never considered. The group is friendly, warm and welcoming, they invited my friend and I to stay for the yoga session, which is very generous and sweet!
