    Sui Wild Flow

Every once in a while I like a class that deviates from a strictly traditional flow, all the while still incorporating the basic fundamentals, classic alignment, and attention to form all the while feeling new and just challenging enough without going over the top to feel like a ridiculous departure from a true yoga practice. This was that. Thanks Reed!

This class was really really relaxing. I was able to get a deeper stretch compare to a typical yoga class because we held the poses for much longer.

The class was great - I didn’t realize it was such a beginner class but it was still a nice class and I got a sweat in. The instructor was great as well #ClassPassInsider

    IN PERSON Katonah Restorative

This class can be challenging in ways very different from a typical restorative class (which presents its challenge in stillness) and from a typical flow class (which presents a challenge in pushing through and also in the potential for injury that exists in most flow classes from poor alignment). Kyle has a wealth of knowledge. The adjustments here really help put your body in proper alignment. (Not that purposeless moving and arm an inch I find elsewhere). More than all of it though, what I love is that Kyle makes jokes (and he’s funny). A good reminder that yoga is about play and not merely “doing a workout” or “getting a good stretch.” This may not be what you expect yoga or restorative to be like, and that’s a good thing.
