Excellent workout and Will is solid, super motivating, awesome energy, and attentive. I do a lot of Pilates and this is a great addition following resistance principles but with the cardio while in form. Will definitely be back!

Class was AMAZING! My first Barry’s in NYC post-Covid and it was awesome. I agree with other reviewers that the studio is a bit small, but it didn’t impact me and I just used the mirrors if I was ever lost. Josiah had great energy and great music!

    Back Body Sculpt

I had Adam as a sub— and he straight slayed the class. I’ve taken well over 500 classes and used to be athlete level fit before I had a baby and the journey to get back into shape has been really tough for me. Adams class was incredible— impeccable form and instruction, with a level of challenge that could be adjusted and everyone left sweating. I’m def going to say Adam is top 10 instructors in NYC, period.

    Flow Yoga

Flow with Mikee is fantastic! I’ve been doing yoga for years & have gone to dozens of studios in NY & BK. He’s a true gem! Highly recommend. My only critic is the studio itself... I find the Crunch studio incredibly cold for its yoga classes. To the point of being uncomfortable. I really wish they would turn off the air & fans for the yoga classes.

    FLOAT > SHOP

The class is really just a short handstand workshop- which is great because its every week and doesn’t cost as much as other workshops do. We did a solid amount of conditioning on and off the mat so its great for beginners and more advanced students

I really appreciate the time Meghan took to have us do an active warm up instead of just going super hard immediately. Class was very challenging but as always I felt amazing afterward.

Candice is wonderful and a great instructor. The studio however could use some work and cleaning. The amenities are outdated and the lighting in the studios is fluorescent and office-like

    Functional Fitness

First time, was the only one there at 7p (in btw Xmas and NYE, hence unusual attendance), but still a great experience. Cole still held class, made me feel super comfortable and had great energy / knowledge. Workout seemed oriented on a series of sets, usually with an EMOM anchoring the middle, not quite HIIT but there’s something in each set to make sure the heart rate stays up. Class would be tough if it’s your first time EVER working out, but still very accessible if you say do some dumbbell/kettlebell strength and cycling/HIIT type classes elsewhere - but want to extend your skill set w/ say basic lifting.

    transformational breathwork with daniella

The meat of Daniella’s class was really, really great. I would prefer a much shorter intro before class and no debrief after class. I found the intro to be repetitive and intense (I don’t need to hear a sample scream and I think she could demonstrate the concepts while teaching in the actual class instead of teaching techniques before getting started. In a yoga class poses are taught in real time not at the beginning to prep, and I’d like to see that approach here as I see in other meditation and breath work classes). The intro took at least 4x too long and unfortunately the debrief after class took me from being relaxed to being a bit more stressed again hearing about her love of breath work and listening to others’ experiences and debating with myself whether or not to share about my (truly wonderful) experience. Overall I highly recommend but I think there is room for improvement <3

    Kickboxing (All Levels)

Great cardio and kickboxing class. Class stared off with an intense 10 min of straight body weight cardio and shadow boxing (jump squats, burpees, lunges, jumping jacks, mountain climbers etc). Then class was split in half. Half doing standard circuits (dumbbell renegade rows, box jumps and tricep dips, treadmill, rope pulls, med ball slams) whole the other half of class did different bag work combination stations- one station being with the instructor. Class ended with sit ups and dumbbell shadow boxing/lifts/curls.
