I just dont like partner workouts. Its pure anxiety and teeth pulling for me. With that said, its a great workout. Fun bag combos, great music and vibe. I wanna come back but the anti-social me just really cant do the partner thing,

Tyler was really great! Small class size at 5:30 so we all got a lot of individualized attention. Here is a hitting bag contraption he has invented called the bishop which is height adjustable, soft and springy. He really helps focus on teaching form. Class has a short warm up, some form practice, some combos intermixed with rapid fire, and cool down. An hour passed really quickly. You can rent quick raps and soft gloves for two dollars. No water to buy there but they have a filtered fountain. You will definitely sweat your butt off.

Was surprisingly full for a lunchtime class. But I got lucky and had a good partner. I like the format of class and that we werent swapping catching and hitting the whole time. Didnt getting any help on form but the coaches were cool and def had a great workout

Paul yells a lot and plays music really loudly compared to the other instructors. Not mad at it though, just know he's intense from jump. That said he's conscious of people's different skill levels and will do what he can to make sure you do things correctly.

    Kettlebell Training

Great class. Focuses entirely on kettle work with no cardio (which was a nice mix up). You go barefoot and do 30 seconds of something, 30 seconds rest, sometimes one minute on then one minute off. I liked the simplicity of the workout, which meant you could try heavier weights versus the boot camp style classes where you're just trying to catch up.

Amazing! Learned how to punch and kick and block. I expected this to be mostly theory but it was cool to get plenty of practice with lots of hands on attention. There was mitt work and bag work. Sometimes martial arts studios can be intimidating, but Master Jojo and everyone else were so welcoming and friendly. Got a great workout. Really fun and very useful.

    Boxing - All Levels

Loooooooooove Maurice, he spent some extra time after class doing some ab work in addition to the circuit we did during class. I was miserable of course but worth it! As always, emphasis on footwork to make sure our punches fly true. Worth skipping/getting in trouble for missing work every time!!

I didn’t feel comfortable at first with some of the hands-on adjustments to my waist area & outer thigh area. I think he could’ve given a blanket heads-up beforehand or something. That said, I did really appreciate the one-on-one attention because I usually feel really dumb and clumsy in boxing classes where I’m trying really hard to look tough and mean! So overall I’d prolly go back to this place and recommend it to others just for the precision factor alone.

This is the absolute cleanest gym/studio I have ever been to in my life - and I say that as an ocd person. The staff is very nice and positive. The suit malfunctioned but they’ve made an effort to rectify the situation, and everything else makes up for it.

Good interval-style work out. You get what you put into it. Would be helpful for instructor to share a bit more about what each exercise aims to target so that the students can know what to focus on.
