see all reviewsKenneth's Elevate class is one of the better ones I have attended at YM and I have attended quite a few some of which were not very well thought out and felt all over the place. This one was very well sequenced and everything made sense from the warmup postures to the strength drills and they definitely helped with achieving the final pose. The peak pose was crow & firefly + combinations of/ transitions between these 2. I can already can do titthibasana somewhat decently but I still got some really good pointers and tips to improve my form and even be able to play around with transitions. Great sweat sesh too!

see all reviewsStrong workouts are always great - Holland V location is much bigger than Orchard but same principles and love the videos on screen to guide for those who prefer some visual demos in addition to verbal instructions. Trainer was also very helpful and considerate. Great workout!

see all reviewsGreat class , I think it’s not beginner friendly and not much of correcting participants poses. It was more speed and changing poses rather than doing it proper and well. So some background will be good. Class is at your own pace so no stress on the number of reps.

She personalised her lesson by remembering each student’s name and addressing by their names during the session, love this extra effort which makes it warm and welcoming. Her instructions are very clear too, easy to understand. Will definitely return for next session.

Feels like this class is more suited for those who at least have some exposure to strength training/weight lifting as it’s a fast paced circuit and there isn’t much time for the instructor to be guiding you throughout. Overall, still a really good workout and enjoyed myself!

She’s warm, friendly and has such a positive energy. The pace was perfect for me and the other attendee (a friend of mine) with beautiful stretch focused and calming moments as well as sections of flowing. I arrived tired and a bit flat, but left energised, feeling brighter and lighter. Hope to join more of Mieke’s classes in the future.
