What is a Kettlebell Deadlift?

The Kettlebell Deadlift is a total lower-body strength movement that uses a ball-shaped weight with a single handle. This deadlift move is designed to build strength in your glutes and hamstrings.

How do you do a Kettlebell Deadlift?

  • Step 1

    Start standing with your feet hip-width apart, your weight shifted back in your heels. The kettlebell should be on the floor a few inches in front of you.

  • Step 2

    Hinge at your hips and push into your heels as you bend to grab the kettlebell with both hands. Make sure your back stays flat.

  • Step 3

    Drive your hips forward and lift the kettlebell as you stand up, keeping your weight pushed through your heels.
