About this class
The class is an essential oil-infused practice that blends two styles of yoga, Yin & Yang into one - bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. The class combines the power or essential oils with yoga: the sense of smell is directly related to different parts of the brain that regulate memory and emotions, being a powerful pathway for transformation, connection and presence in the practice. Essential oils hold soothing, restoring, calming and grounding properties while others are known as energizing, uplifting, warming and renewing. As our bodies go through an array of emotions and physical states throughout our daily life, the combination of essential oils and yoga can help us improve and maintain our well-being. Depending on the theme of the class, invigorating and uplifting oils will be coupled with an energizing practice as well as restorative and grounding oils will promote peace and relaxation. The perfect way to unwind the body and mind at the end of your day!

How to prepare
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Mats & props provided but feel free to bring your own. Please make sure to arrive between 5 and 15 minutes before the class starts.
How to get there
Yoganida is located at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 120, 1012 SH Amsterdam. Yoganida is easily accessible by bike (parking spots on either side of the street) and by public transport (from Amsterdam Centraal station, Rokin metro station tram line 1, 2, 11, 13, and 17 stopping at Dam square). Ring the bell when you arrive and take the stairs leading downstairs.
