How to prepare

You don’t have to master a one-arm handstand to practice here, but you do have to arrive at least 5 minutes early for class. Mat rentals are available at the studio for $1 cash or $2 CC - just leave your shoes at the door, check in with the front desk and make yourself at OM. In the event that a class is sold out, spaces may be given to those on the waitlist 3 minutes before class time. Please note that there is a 5-minute late policy.

How to get there

The studio is located at 135 W 20th between 6th & 7th Ave on the 6th Floor. The building’s elevator means well but is often slow, so give it a minute.

Halima is fantastic!
Beginner Fundamentals with Halima
It’s really spiritual, borderline religious. Which is fine, but if you’re just looking for a meditative workout, this isn’t the class for you and you’ll likely be a bit uncomfortable.

great intro to Vinyasa. Halima is so welcoming and encouraging.
Beginner Fundamentals with Halima
Halima was fantastic, funny and super helpful. As a total beginner who is out of shape this class was perfect - challenging but easy to follow and range of skill levels amongst the small group. Will 100% be back.
Beginner Fundamentals with Halima
Class itself was great! It was very traditional and we did lots of Oms and the teacher was very supportive. The only bad thing was that the check in process that morning was very disorganized as there was no one at the front desk.
