The essential attitude of yin is one of quiet insight, where the body uses time and gentle stillness to soften. This practice is the ideal complement to the dynamic or muscular forms of yoga. Thus, practitioners of dynamic forms should seek to balance their practice by using Yin once a week to restore and replenish themselves. Some yoga experience required.
