About this class

Advanced Boot Camp Class: VERY IMPORTANT...USE THE ADDRESS LISTED BELOW...DO NOT GO TO THE OCEANFRONT WALK LOCATION DISPLAYED ABOVE!!!! SUPER IMPORTANT...If you are not on site by 8:00 AM, you will probably get left behind...we run from the starting point to the area in front of 425 Upper Mesa Road. If you are running late, meet us there...the class will arrive at about 8:10 AM. This is a workout wrapped in another workout. We'll work on cardio and anaerobic conditioning by walking/running/jumping up a 10 story set of stairs. At the top, we'll do conditioning drills (Supramaximal, HIIT, Tabata) and a gang of Pushups. This is the workout that makes people stop and watch. While others consider the Stairs a workout, the Sabertooth Fitness crew treats the stairs like a rest between bouts of intense activity. If you do this, you will improve as an athlete. Be advised, this is a very challenging class. Location: 536 Adelaide Dr, Santa Monica, CA 90402 Meet on the street in front of this address. If you come a little early, there is usually free parking on Adelaide Dr. If you get lost, call 239-822-8447, and I will guide you to the location.

Such a great workout! I’ve been taking this class for a couple weeks now. Very challenging but like a family. This class will push you but there are modifications. Work up a sweat (make it rain) with this workout!

This was SUCH a hard workout! Probably one of the hardest I’ve ever done. And I’m still sore (3 days later). But totally worth it. Peter is great and patient, and everyone there is super supportive. I‘m definitely going back!

Best class ever. Pete is an awesome instructor and this class starts every Sunday off on the right foot. Its a great group of people who attend regularly and they go above and beyond welcoming new people into the group. Highly recommend for a great workout in a Santa Monica hills.

This class is very difficult and requires lots of running. But I enjoyed being pushed to my limits. It was a fun group of very competitive former athletes who refuse to quit--their focus encouraged me to get outside of my comfort zone.

How to prepare

Check class description for the class location...we have multiple locations!! Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in. Bring water, a sweat towel, and good reason. Running shoes are great for the track workout, but cross trainers work for all of the workouts. The beach sessions can be performed in bare feet, shoes, or sand socks. If you are going to eat before training...try to get your last bite in about 90 minutes prior to the start of your class.
