About this class

Body Blast features 20 second intervals of exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated eight times. In this specialty Tabata class you will alternate between strength blocks and cardio blocks. This combination will ensure maximal caloric expenditure and metabolic efficiency!

Body Blast
The instructor wasnt very friendly and I dont think the workout was that effective, a lot of jumping and throwing weights around with no rhyme or reason. He also wasnt great at demonstrating form- I think a lot of the exercises we were doing, at a fast pace, were especially dangerous for the back and shoulders. Additionally, he didnt follow the Tabata style like the description. Wouldnt take this class again.

I will definitely talk with our instructor to make sure his exercises are safe and effective and that he his demonstrating them appropriately. Please try the Body Blast class with another instructor or another type of Tabata class!
Body Blast
First time with this instructor. Really liked her! Awesome, challenging class. This plus body pump on Thursdays seems like a great combo of cardio/strength training! They supplement each other well

I'm glad you enjoyed our Body Blast class! It's definitely challenging, but a great sweat! It's smart to combine the high intensity training with strength training in body pump. You may also enjoy one of our press classes for additional strength training or an Octane or Ignite class for another day of HIIT!
Body Blast
This class was great. Lots of cardio and jumping, though, so be prepared for that. It was a good, high energy, calorie-scorching class.
