About this class

Cardio, strength training, and core work all rolled into one amazing 50 minute class. Be prepared to move, sweat, burn, learn, and laugh. Fast and high-intensity sets will challenge your endurance, build your strength, and test your limits. While this class is centered around using TRX suspension trainers and treadmill interval work, be prepared to amp it up a notch with kettlebells, resistance bands, free weights, jump ropes, swiss balls, and possibly the kitchen sink. Even the seasoned fitness junkie will walk away breathless with a sore muscle or two!

How to prepare

For your first class at Reformation Fitness, please arrive 10 minutes early to sign a waiver, familiarize yourself with the studios and facility, as well as get a chance to speak to the instructor ahead of the class regarding any limitations, injuries or modifications needed. All classes are 14 members (or less) per room, so please feel free to ask questions regarding modifications, progressions, form & technique, and/or different weight/resistance levels needed. Please be courteous and respectful of all others during class. Thank you!

How to get there

Reformation Fitness - Shaw/Convention Center conveniently located in the heart of DC's Historic Shaw District. They're within a 10-15 minute walk from many surrounding neighborhoods -- including Logan Circle, U Street, Bloomingdale, Shaw, Mt. Vernon Triangle, Thomas Circle, and Gallery Place/Chinatown. Street parking is available and can be paid for via ParkMobile. The Convention Center/Mt. Vernon Metro Station (Green/Yellow lines) is one block away.

This class will kick your butt, but it’s an amazing workout!

Joe was welcoming and attentive to form and answered all my questions. The class was hard but not impossible. We did a combo of cardio and weights. Definitely got a workout and I will definitely feel it tomorrow!

This class will have your heart racing. You get a bit of cardio (which could include running up stairs), TRX, and some weight strengthening. Make sure you don’t forget your water! You feel great afterward.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on.
