How to prepare

For your first class at Reformation Fitness, please arrive 10 minutes early to sign a waiver, familiarize yourself with the studios and facility, as well as get a chance to speak to the instructor ahead of the class regarding any limitations, injuries or modifications needed. All classes are 14 members (or less) per room, so please feel free to ask questions regarding modifications, progressions, form & technique, and/or different weight/resistance levels needed. Please be courteous and respectful of all others during class. Thank you!

How to get there

Reformation Fitness - Shaw/Convention Center conveniently located in the heart of DC's Historic Shaw District. They're within a 10-15 minute walk from many surrounding neighborhoods -- including Logan Circle, U Street, Bloomingdale, Shaw, Mt. Vernon Triangle, Thomas Circle, and Gallery Place/Chinatown. Street parking is available and can be paid for via ParkMobile. The Convention Center/Mt. Vernon Metro Station (Green/Yellow lines) is one block away.

Erin was the most energetic Pilates instructor I’ve had! The class was pretty hard but I found that we did low reps compared to other studios, so I’d recommend using challenging weights since exercises don’t last long. My only complaint was that there was only about 40 minutes of work and then 15 minutes of stretching.

Was really good for abs! We used the big balls this time and I had a lot of trouble balancing which made me feel like I wasn’t getting as much out of the workout as I could have been, but I’ll def be back

Good workout and Erin is super upbeat. I just wish she would walk around during class to correct form instead of doing the whole workout herself. Feels like she cares more about getting her workout in than making sure everyone is doing okay.
