About this class

This Class is perfect for students new to yoga or anyone who wants to get back to basics! All Yoga Basics classes are designed to give you the time and support to understand the proper alignment of Yoga asanas (postures) and breathing technique. You will begin by focusing on the basics, but it won’t stop there. In this class you explore the physical poses and the awareness that builds while you practice them. Yoga Basics class teachers are experts at helping you master form, understanding how to breathe, and helping you build confidence in the postures while exploring the wonders of Yoga.

How to prepare

Remember to bring your yoga mat for class. Rentals are available for $2. Small hand towel and water are also available for rent and sale for $1.00

How to get there

Please arrive at least five minutes prior to class. Late entry will not be accepted once class has started. Parking is available in the lot directly in front of the studio. Sunday and Monday: parking is available in the lot or there's always street parking in the area. Tuesday - Saturday: complimentary valet parking is provided!

Great instructor!
Yoga Basics with Lina
Leaving some honest feedback. Staff was nice and instructor was chill. But yoga should have either strength, flexibility, balance, or cardio / sweat- Or focus on breath at the minimum. I feel that we didn’t get much of any of those. Yoga for basics should be more explanatory. There was not enough instruction or help. She didn’t talk enough or explain what we should be doing. We didn’t move enough. We held downward dog and other poses like that but it felt very stagnant. Mostly silent holding poses like a yin yasa class almost but not in the good way. Virtually no hip openers, back bends, anything. Seemed like she was almost baby sitting the class rather than being excited or focused. I have been to years of level 1 classes with a thorough explanation, of adjustments and variations, where you break a sweat or get a deep stretch. I am open to returning to the studio for a diff class. Also work on ya playlist girl & get excited! You have gifts to share with a little more fire. Namaste

What is ClassPass?
