About this class

Ra Strength harmonizes the practice of yoga and the benefits of weight lifting. The student flows through a yoga sequence practiced with light weights in hands. The added weight provides the resistance needed to strengthen, tone, and improve a regular yoga practice. Please make sure to arrive early to class or your spot may be given away.

How to prepare

Yoga mats and towels are available for rent but all students are encouraged to bring their own to class. Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottle as well so they can be refilled with their free Reverse Osmosis or Alkaline Water offered.

How to get there

If this is your first time at Ra, please arrive 15 minutes early, as there's an additional waiver for you to sign.

One of the hardest strength yoga classes I’ve taken, but it was awesome! So much fun, and the instructor was super motivating!

Challenging and overall great sweat session. Not sure if I was doing the weight lifts correctly due to the rapid pace of the class, thus 4 stars. Tip: be sure to arrive early to search for parking elsewhere if need be as the lot is small.

The class content was great, but the music was tinny and so loud at times that trying to hear the teacher was like watching a silent movie with no subtitles.

She is the BEST instructor. Total body workout with some yoga thrown in. Love her!

Great workout! Felt like I was able to push myself! However, I wish it had more yoga elements. Even in the cuing it felt more like a workout than a yoga strength class. Also the room was VERY crowded! Wish the max was a little bit lower as well as talked with a few people in the class about how we all agreed that you should be able to book classes! I know this isn’t fully relevant for class pass users but wanted to pass along the feedback that two members wish they could reserve and guarantee a spot in the class because they both had had times they were turned away when they got to the studio because the class was full.

What is ClassPass?
