How to prepare

Please bring a water bottle and towel. Choose comfortable clothing that you can move in. Ideally, hair should be pulled back out of your face. Ballet and Contemporary classes can be taken in ballet shoes, jazz shoes or bare feet. Mind Body classes are done barefoot. Energy Boosters should be done in jazz shoes or sneakers/running shoes.

How to get there

Entry is via the Green Room, from the car park. Occasionally, other events require use of the Green Room, in which case their dance class entry is opposite The Shed, at the Drake Street end of the car park. Bus: The Thomas Dixon Centre is very close to bus stops for the CityGlider (Route 60) and 192 services, which both run along Montague Rd. The 199 service stops along Hoogley Street at the other end of Drake Street. Train: The South Brisbane Train Station is the closest station, and it located close to the Cultural Centre which is serviced by the three bus routes listed above. Ferry: The CityCat stops at the West End Ferry Terminal, located at the end of Hoogley Street. Limited, free parking is available at the Thomas Dixon Centre, with entry via Drake Street. Additional street parking is also available.
