About this class

Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements to create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system! This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval and resistance training to maximize caloric output, cardiovascular benefits and total body toning. The cardio-based dance movements are easy-to-follow steps that include body sculpting, which targets areas such as gluteals, legs, arms, core abdominals and the most important muscle in the body, the heart.

Please wear sneakers or soft soled shoes and bring water and a towel. You are welcomed to bring your own mat; however, they have plenty to share.

There is free on-street parking as well as a parking lot behind Providence! The studio is located on the second floor.
