Boot Camp with Shon
I took a class with Shon and having it be my first time at this studio I don’t plan on returning when she is “training.” Given that I’m new to working out I appreciate when a trainer corrects my form and helps me with modifications, neither of which were given by Shon. She went ahead and did her own workout during class and didn’t engage besides telling the class what to do next. It was an uninspiring class and given that I had read great reviews I was expecting a lot more from the instructor and the class. If I ever do come back I will make sure I choose another instructor.

Super great break-a-sweat workout. If you are a team sport athlete this will bring you back to workouts in the gym, but expect to finish the sets earlier than others and than have Shon give you more exercises to do!

Instructor is beyond rude and abrasive has all these rules for cleaning and is super militant about it. She also doesn’t give a f@$! about your form and technique and will pay no attention to you while you work out. You would be better off google workouts and doing them on your own

By far one of the best classes I’ve taken. Shon is motivating, and will help you if your form isn’t correct so you don’t injure yourself and work that much harder! I wish I could attend more than 1 or 2x a week, love love love these classes

I have taken a class with Chrissy before and loved it. But I went to a class with Shon and she wasn’t paying attention to us at all. She was actually mean to me and other students when coming in with our shoes then proceeded to just look at her phone during the workout. Not motivating at all just wanted to leave since we were the last class of the afternoon. I would go back but not to her class if you want any sort of attention or help with form. Disappointing for the owner to be like this.

I was shocked by the lack of professionalism from Shon. There were only 6 people in the class and she wrote the instructions on a board, walked us through them once and then did her own workout and pretty much ignored us. I didn’t know what half of the jargon meant so I muddled through the session and Shon didn’t come over once to correct me. I was baffled. Definitely don’t recommend unless you just want a workout space among other people.

5 stars for excellent tough workout which will make you feel sore for days. 1-2 star for instructor Shon’s attitude...she makes you clean your shoes before walking in which I understand and appreciate, but she gets very abrasive and rude about it. She is also often doing her own workout while you are working out rather than being attentive to the students in class (e.g. correcting your form or giving coaching advice).
