Somatics Mat is a class that begins with Somatic movements and works its way into the Pilates mat repertoire. Somatic exercises are gentle movement patterns that shift your central nervous system to create new muscular habits. These new habits can alleviate chronic muscle overuse patterns. The Somatics and Pilates combination will leave you with a feeling of overall wellness and balance from class.

How to prepare
Please wear comfortable clothes that do not hang too far off the body. Our classes are done either barefoot or in socks. Grip socks are preferable but not required. You do not need to bring anything else, mats and water are provided.
