Yoga Nidra enables you to effortlessly realize your intentions and achieve an integrated state in which your body moves towards self-healing. Yoga Nidra works by immersing your brain in the healing rhythms of the alpha state.

How to prepare

Students should bring their mats and any other props they use to feel comfortable. The studio has mats for rental, water and tea and props for use, including: straps, blocks, blankets.

Lots of distractions - noise by others in the studio, snoring in the class, teachers phone torch and heater noise. I do think this style of yoga is very beneficial but needs to be more effort in keeping the space calm and quiet. In other classes (not prana) teachers have said they will lightly squeeze your toe to wake for those who fall asleep and are a noisy sleeper.

lovely guided meditation, great way to end the week! the only thing I was it was a little noisy at the end due to incoming yoga teacher.
